Mrs. Hakim, of the Wolfpit Elementary School, is hoping to purchase wobble chairs to meet her students' sensory needs.
"My students are made up a diverse set of backgrounds and include English language learners, special education students and those receiving free or reduced lunches," she said on a campaign.
"My students need both wobble chairs and additional seating. Most importantly my students love coming to school, learning and being in fourth grade."
She said having those items will allow students to stay focused on learning, "minimizing distractions and increasing their focus is optimal for helping Fourth Graders learn and grow."
